MORGAN COUNTY


Morgan County Sheriff’s Department

The Sheriff’s Office located in Jacksonville, has fourteen sworn deputies whose main responsibilities are the enforcement of traffic laws and criminal laws. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department serves a population of about 35,000 residents.

 

Jacksonville Fire Department

The Jacksonville Fire Department has twenty seven full time firefighters who respond to approximately 3000 calls for service per year and provides all hazard response to the 12 Square miles of Jacksonville and to all of Morgan County through mutual aid agreements. Responses include Fire, Hazmat, EMS (ALS level), Rescue (Technician level) including vertical, confined space, trench and vehicle.

 

Jacksonville Police Department

The Jacksonville Police Department is staffed with forty sworn officers and a civilian staff of four. The mission of the Jacksonville Police Department is to enforce and uphold all federal and state statutes and municipal ordinances in accordance with the United States Constitution.  The Jacksonville Police Department serves a population of just under 20,000 residents.

 

LifeStar Ambulance

LifeStar Ambulance Service, Inc. is a proprietary (privately owned) professional ambulance service, which offers emergency and non-emergency ambulance and transfer services to the sick, elderly, wounded, or incapacitated on a per call for fee basis.

 

South Jacksonville Police Department

The South Jacksonville Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers. The South Jacksonville Police Department serves a population of just over 3,000 residents.

 

South Jacksonville Fire Department

The Village of South Jacksonville Illinois maintains a volunteer Fire Department, and Rescue Squad. The Rescue Squad provides the highest level of emergency medical care (ALS) to the Village and surrounding communities.

 

Waverly Police Department

The Waverly Police Department is staffed with a full-time Chief and part-time officers. The Waverly Police Department serves a population of approximately 1,300 residents.

 

Waverly Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad

The City of Waverly maintains a volunteer Fire Department, and Rescue Squad. The Rescue Squad provides service to both the city of Waverly and surrounding area including the village of Franklin.

 

Chapin Police Department

The Chapin Police Department is staffed with part-time officers. The Chapin Police Department serves a population of about 500 residents.

 

Chapin Fire Department

The Village of Chapin’s Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Chapin, Village of Concord and surrounding rural area.

 

Chapin Area Rescue Squad

The Chapin Area Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer service that provides BLS transport Emergency Medical Services, with field upgradable ALS, for the Village of Chapin, wConcord and surrounding rural area.

 

Franklin Fire Protection District

The village of Franklin maintains an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Franklin and surrounding rural area.

 

Meredosia Police Department

The Meredosia Police Department is staffed with part-time officers. The Meredosia Police Department serves a population of about 900 residents.

 

Meredosia Fire Department

The village of Meredosia maintains an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Meredosia and surrounding rural area.

 

Meredosia-Bluff’s Volunteer Rescue Squad

The Meredosia-Bluffs Volunteer Rescue Squad is an all-volunteer service that provides Advanced Life Support service for the Village of Meredosia and Bluffs as well as the surrounding rural area.

 

Murrayville Woodson Police Department

The Murrayville Woodson Police Department is staffed with part time officers and provides police services for two towns within one mile of each other with a total population of 1,700 residents.

 

Murrayville Fire Department

The village of Murrayville maintains an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Murrayville and surrounding rural area..

 

Murrayville Woodson EMS

Murrayville Woodson EMS is an all-volunteer service that provides Basic Life Support service for the Villages of Murrayville and Woodson as well as the surrounding rural area.

 

Woodson Fire Department

The village of Woodson maintains an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Woodson and surrounding rural area.

 

Alexander Fire Department

The village of Alexander maintains an all-volunteer fire service for the Village of Alexander and surrounding rural area. They provide fire, rescue and medical assistance to the area.

 

Ashland Fire Department

Ashland Fire Department based out of Cass County, serves the north west portions of Morgan County. They provide fire, rescue, and medical assistance to the area.

GREENE COUNTY


Greene County Sheriff’s Department

The Sheriff’s Office located in Carrollton, has six sworn deputies. The Greene County Sheriff’s Department serves a population of about 13,000 residents.

 

Greene County Ambulance

Boyd Healthcare manages the only ambulance service in Greene County. They run two ALS rigs daily.

 

Carrollton Police Department

The Carrollton Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers. The Carrollton Police Department serves a population of about 2,500 residents.

 

Carrollton Fire Department

The city of Carrollton maintains an all-volunteer fire service for Carrollton and surrounding rural area.

 

Greenfield Fire Protection District

Greenfield Fire Protection District serves 144 square miles in Greene, Macoupin and Jersey counties, with a population of roughly 2,500 people.

 

Greenfield Police Department

The Greenefield Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers. The Greenefield Police Department serves a population of just over 1,300 residents.

 

White Hall Police Department

The White Hall Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers. The White Hall Police Department serves a population of just over 2,300 residents.

 

White Hall Fire Department

The city of White Hall maintains an all-volunteer fire department. They respond to fire and rescue calls in White Hall, Patterson, Hillview, and in the rural areas surroundings these communities that are in the White Hall Fire Co-Op Unit area.

 

Roodhouse Fire Department

The City of Roodhouse maintains an all-voluteer fire department. Rood house FireProtection District provides fire suppression and a first responder/EMT-B level EMS service to Roodhouse and the surrounding rural areas.

 

Roodhouse Police Department

The Roodhouse Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers serving a population of just over 1,700 residents.

 

 CALHOUN COUNTY


Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department

The Sheriff’s Office staffed with both full-time and part-time deputies, located in Hardin, serves a population of about 5,000 residents.

 

Calhoun County Ambulance

Calhoun County Ambulance is an all-volunteer service that provides Basic Life Support service for all of Calhoun County.

 

Richwoods Volunteer Fire District

The Village of Batchtown maintains an all-volunteer fire department. They respond to fire and rescue calls in Batchtown and the surrounding rural areas. 

 

North Calhoun Fire Protection District

The Village of Kampsville maintains an all-volunteer fire department. They respond to fire and rescue calls in Kampsville and the surrounding rural areas.

 

Hardin Police Department

The Hardin Police Department is staffed with both full-time and part-time officers serving a population of about 900 residents.

 

Hardin Fire Protection District

The Village of Hardin maintains an all-volunteer fire department. They respond to fire and rescue calls in Hardin and the surrounding rural areas.
